Hello! My name is Sara Tippetts and I grew up playing and listening to the piano. I started taking piano lessons when I was six years old. I was first taught by my Mom and then transferred to a few different piano teachers along the way. I took piano lessons for a total of 12.5 years. This includes lessons until I graduated high school and a semester while I was in college at SUU in Cedar City, UT.
I have been playing the piano for a total of 23 years! It is one of my most treasured accomplishments and want people to experience the joy of playing the piano as well.
I began teaching piano when I was sixteen and have continued to teach off and on for the last twelve years, totaling five complete years experience.
I married my husband in July of 2009 and we have a home in Washington Terrace. In December 2011, we welcomed a beautiful baby boy into our lives. He is the most wonderful part of my day.
I truly believe that learning to play the piano can be fun! Knowing how to play the piano is an excellent foundation if you are planning to pursue other instruments, learning dance, or singing.
